The Wheal Hughes Copper Mine at Moonta is a fascinating tour which combines a train ride with history, geology and a touch of adventure! It's also a perfect family outing for those hot summer days. We head 55 metres below sea level and find the walls of the mine streaked with a multitude of colourful minerals.
