If you're thinking about heading off-road then the Nathaltee track in the Southern Flinders is perfect for all wheel drive cars and it's also a great introduction to four wheel driving. Chris Dittmar drops into the Austral Hotel in Quorn where owner Ron Cunningham hands over the keys and all the relevant information for the Nathaltee track. The drive takes about an hour and a half, but the locals suggest you pack a picnic and take half a day, using the majestic Flinders Ranges as your backdrop.
