It's always good to catch up with some of our old friends on Discover and recently Chris Dittmar stopped on his way through Port Augusta to spend some time with Aaron Morgan. We first met Aaron years ago when he started running eco-tours to the top of Spencer Gulf. Cruising past towering red cliffs, along mangrove trails to see the outback from the water proved to be so popular that Aaron ended up getting a bigger boat and now extends his tours when possible to show his guests visiting whales…Yes.. Whales on the doorstep of the Outback! At this time of year from vantage points around the top of the gulf you can actually see whales at play just out of Port Augusta.
