The Great Australian Cattle Drive in 2002 was an ambitious undertaking to say the least. Riders from all over the world, with various degrees of experience in the saddle teamed up with professional drovers to move nearly 600 head of cattle down a stock route from Birdsville to Maree. In 2005 the Great Australian Cattle Drive will return, offering up to 560 people the opportunity to participate in this unique event.
