Unnamed Conservation Park

Information

Episode: 6/028
Broadcast: Saturday November 27th

Mike Smithson visits the South Australian Conservation Park that's half the size of Tasmania. This pristine area of mallee, marble gum and Black Oak is almost on the West Australian and Northern Territory and is probably one of the most remote parks in South Australia. Permits to the Unnamed Conservation Park can be obtained from the Maralinga-Tjarutja Council office in Ceduna.
The rangers are happy to receive visitors to these parts, best suited towards hardy campers who are well prepared for harsh but spectacular scenery.
