Peter Michell tackles the new Cheese and Wine Trail in McLaren Vale. The idea is you start at 'Blessed Cheese' in the main street, where for a fee, visitors are supplied with a map, a packed cheese esky and a bike to get you around to the local wineries. Wines from five of the cellar doors in the region have been taste matched to the five South Australian cheeses supplied - a very tasty way to spend a day in beautiful McLaren Vale!
