Information
Chris Dittmar discovers the Red Banks Conservation Park, 15km’s out of Burra on the road to Morgan. As the name suggests, Red Banks is a stunning area of sedimentary gullies and creek beds dominated by incredible red cliffs. Significant Megafauna remains have been unearthed in the area in recent times, causing quite a stir in scientific and palaeontology circles. The park is also ideal for bushwalkers and campers and home to Kangaroos, Wombats and Echidnas.
