They say never to work with kids or animals but Adelaide Chef Peter Milosevic takes on the challenge, showing a couple of kids just how easy it is for them to make "Chocolate Bananas" with the help of an adult on the Barbecue. This quick and easy dish is a delicious dessert the whole family will love. Cherylee Harris also stops in for the all-important taste test!

Caramelised Bananas with Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients
3 to 4 bananas
1 carton of Cream
Teaspoon vanilla essence
2 to 3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 large block of chocolate
1 lemon

Method
-skin the bananas, cut into halves and place in a bowl.
- add a handful of brown sugar to the bananas and mix with half the juice of a lemon.
- pour the cream into a saucepan and heat. Add the vanilla essence, 2 to 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, half the block of chocolate and stir.
- add the remainder of the chocolate to the sauce and stir until melted.
- place the bananas on the barbecue until golden.
- serve on a plate with the chocolate dipping sauce in a separate bowl.
