Chris Dittmar gets on his bike and discovers the brand new Eagle Mountain Bike Park in the Adelaide Hills. With more than 40,000 bikes sold every year in South Australia, Mountain Bike Riding is becoming an extremely popular sport with people of all ages. From December riders can head to the Eagle Mountain Bike Park where they can enjoy 22 kilometres of designated Bike trails set over 130 hectares. There are various trails to cater for every type of bike rider, from the absolute novice, to advance cross country and downhill tracks for elite riders. There's even a jumps and skills park for those wanting to hone their bike handling skills.

Take the Eagle on the Hill turnoff from the freeway and look out for the Pastor Kavel lookout on the right, a couple of hundred metres short of the old Eagle on the Hill Hotel.
